There are over ten dialysis Centers in downtown area that have patients that routinely need non-ambulatory services. We have 17 vehicles available to provide such services 6 days a week, 24 hours a day. We take care of patients needing transportation and provide much needed service in the community. Our company provides door to door service for each individual patient and our vehicles are well maintained and clean. Our drivers practice good hygiene and are professional. All our employees are trained to show understanding and respect to all patients, family members and any other health care professional. Our motto with the drivers is that we are first in serving people who happen to be patients and then secondly in transporting. We have a very good reputation of providing provide prompt service.
OUR SERVICE AREA
Health Care Transport, Inc. dba Silver Medical Transportation operates mainly in Downtown Los Angeles and the surrounding areas including Montebello, Beverly Hills, Inglewood, South Gate and Hollywood. Other areas are served on a case by case basis with prior appointments depending on availability.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Our office hours are from 8:00am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday and from 9:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday. Dispatcher/s answers phone 24 hours. Our vans operate 6 days a week Monday to Saturday, 2:00 am to 9:00 pm. Sundays and other hours by previous appointments.

METHOD OF MONITORING
Silver Medical Transportation utilizes cutting edge technologies for the operation and tracking of its fleet. GPS tracking software is used for tracking down the location of each unit anytime. Two way radio system and cell phones are utilized for fast and easy communication between the units and the base station. Each ride is entered in a log with time and odometer readings. The logs are used for clerical and administrative purposes.
QUALITY OF SERVICE
The intent of the Quality Assurance & Quality Improvement Program is to establish a set of guidelines for the administration of Silver Medical Transportation non-ambulatory medical transportation services. It is the responsibility of all personnel to operate within these guidelines. With the establishment of an in-house Quality Assurance & Quality Improvement Program, the overall objective is to assure and improve current policies and practices through review, statistical analysis, and interaction with medical facilities, information gathering, and policy/procedure changes communicated to all personal. We challenge ourselves to better serve the community as well as the individual through a shared commitment to service, reliability and integrity.

Well maintained vehicles and equipment and experienced drivers help the transportation process to be timely and comfortable. All employees are trained to show understanding and respect to patients, family members and nursing home/hospital stuff. It is always more beneficial for the public to have good options when it comes to the number and quality of non-ambulatory transportation services available because of the traffic conditions in the densely populated Los Angeles area.
